10 years and 1 million hits!The year 2o14 marks the 10th year of existence for AK Music Scene and the Pennsylvania Rock Show. 2 websites with the goal of supporting local music in Western Pennsylvania and beyond. We have many goals for these 2 sites including helping bands be seen and heard by as many people as possible. Over 10 years in, and we have been a part of many great scene events, from raising 10 years and 1 million hits!money for sick children to 3 of our local scene bands being in the Pittsburgh Finals for Emergenza, we were there. With that being said, today the AK Music Scene and Pennsylvania Rock Show have hit a major milestone which goes a long way towards their goals of helping our local musicians be seen and heard by as many people around the world as possible. It is with great honor and pleasure that I get to announce that we have broken 1 million hits in a year for the first time in the history of our sites! We would like to thank everyone who has ever taken a moment to support local music and us throughout our 10 years of existence, without you the bands and fans our websites wouldn’t be successful. Bill is a teacher by day and webmaster by night. Bill started working with bands and their online presence in 1995. He founded AK Music Scene in February of 2004 and the Pennsylvania Rock Show followed shortly after in September of 2004. In October of 2016, he founded Podcast your Scene Bill hopes that his websites help the bands around the world get their music heard.
