Based out of Pittsburgh, Quiet Hours is a ve-piece rock band forged from
humble beginnings in a college dorm room. With energetic live performances
and dynamic song structures, Quiet Hours has been dedicated to making music
for people to enjoy since 2019.
Quiet Hours’ debut LP School Dance takes inspiration from the trials and
tribulations of the high school experience. Each song describes a type of person
encountered at a prom, from the people at the center of the dance oor to the
kids smoking in the bathroom. The album takes inspiration from multiple genres,
fusing the band’s rock background with elements of funk, indie, and pop. Across
the album, songs feature a groovy rhythm section, infectious guitar melodies,
blistering saxophone solos, and a versatile, commanding vocal performance.
The album is the culmination of two years of writing and performing music
together in the Pittsburgh DIY scene.
