Lead singer Billy Evanochko is widely-known across the Steel City for his impassioned lyrics, seductive vocals, and stinging guitar riffs. Fresh off being voted “Best Rock Band” in the Iron City Rocks Pittsburgh Music Awards in February, Chip & The Charge Ups released the album, entitled What Happened to the Boy Next Door? It features a noticeably harder-edged sound for the band. Chip & The Charge Ups celebrated the music drop with an album release party at the Hard Rock Café-Pittsburgh on Saturday June 3, 2023.
