Pennsylvania Rock Show Episode 850: Para Bellum Returns with “The In Between” and a Mission to Support Veterans

Para Bellum is back! On Episode 850 of the Pennsylvania Rock Show, Bill Domiano catches up with the returning metal band as they prepare to reenter the music scene with a refreshed lineup, brand-new music, and an upcoming benefit concert supporting veterans living with PTSD and service-related trauma.

Featuring returning members Lee, Eric, and Terry alongside new members Leo Hotowski on drums and Adam Koisor on vocals, Para Bellum is entering its next chapter with a full lineup of military veterans. The band’s return brings renewed energy, new creative possibilities, and a commitment to heavy music with a meaningful purpose.

During this episode, we discuss the band’s time away from the scene, the changes to the lineup, the road ahead, and their upcoming new single, “The In Between,” scheduled for release November 4. We also celebrate Para Bellum’s recognition as a finalist in the Josie Awards Metal/Alternative Metal Song of the Year category.

But this return is about more than new music. Para Bellum is preparing for its first show back on November 14 at The Funhouse at Mr. Smalls, as part of Scream at Your Demons, a benefit event supporting Guitars4Vets.

The all-ages event features other Pennsylvania Rock Show guests, including last week’s featured band, Lyssa Quell, and returning guests Feast on the Fallen. Organized in support of Veterans Day by Chaotic Order Entertainment, the event is designed to raise awareness for veterans living with PTSD and other service-related trauma.

All proceeds from the event will be donated directly to Guitars4Vets, supporting its Butler, Pennsylvania, chapter.

Guitars4Vets is a nonprofit organization founded in 2007 that uses music education to support veterans dealing with PTSD and other service-related challenges. The program connects veterans with volunteer guitar instructors for free lessons and provides participants with an acoustic guitar and learning materials. Its approach recognizes that learning music can offer a constructive creative outlet, a sense of accomplishment, and opportunities for connection.

According to the information provided for this event, Guitars4Vets has delivered more than 80,000 lessons and provided more than 8,000 guitars to veterans. The organization has expanded to more than 110 chapters across over 40 states, with remote learning options also available.

Representatives from Guitars4Vets will be present throughout Scream at Your Demons to explain the program and answer questions about how it supports veterans. The event brings together the power of live metal music, community involvement, and a cause that deserves continued attention.

For Para Bellum, this is an opportunity to reconnect with fans, introduce the new lineup, perform as a band again, and share music while supporting fellow veterans. For concertgoers, it is a chance to experience a powerful night of heavy music while contributing to an organization that makes music education accessible to veterans.
