Para Bellum: Rising Stars of Butler’s Hard Rock Scene PARS732

Formed in late 2019, Para Bellum is a Hard Rock/Heavy Metal band based out of Butler, Pennsylvania. In their short existence, Para Bellum has quickly become a fixture in the local music scene, and as one radio DJ suggested, “have become one of the hardest working bands in the area.” When not spending time writing and recording new material, they can usually be found playing in numerous charity/fundraisings shows as well as several indoor and outdoor music festivals for organizations such as Rock for Life, Shady Lady, and Speedfreak Motorsports. They also enjoy playing split shows with a variety of different bands. In the winter of 2020, they found themselves at world famous Rattle Clack Recording Studio in Pittsburgh, PA to start on their upcoming self-titled cd. In early 2021, they released their first single I Die Alone (which deals with veteran PTSD and suicide), and immediately starting garnering airplay and accolades. These included, the daily #1 on Banks Radio in Perth, Australia, 2021 regional winner in both the songwriting and band categories at the VAACF, and being featured on 97.7 FM’s the Grass Roots Show. Their rise through the scene continued with the release of another single, Dies Irae, in spring 2021 followed by a CD release in May of 2022. To date, Para Bellum has had six songs featured on the Grass Roots show, several songs in current radio rotation, two chart topping hits abroad, and been heard in over 17 countries.
