Don Shearer of the band Anger the Ant joined Bill to discuss the local scene, his band, and more. He explains where the name Anger the Ant came from. He also talks about the Butler Music Project Volume #1 CD and the process and reasoning behind recording it.
He also gave us some incite into what winning the Grassy Award from the Grass Roots Show at 97.7 The Rock Station WLER does for a local band. Bill and Don then discuss how awesome that show and Utah and Bob in particular are for helping the scene out. The Band Jam and the Rock Done Right Tour are just 2 of the many things that these guys do for the scene. Don credits them with helping Anger the Ant get off the ground and become a headliner after playing on the Grass Root Show.
Don then tells us about his music collection (or lack thereof), which includes local musicians!
