Erik Winger 3QS040

Erik Winger on 3 Questions and a Song #40 With KISS being in the headlines again about Tommy and Eric wearing Ace and Peter’s make up, what are you thoughts on that and what line up do you think was the best KISS line up? Can you tell us a little bit about your musical history? How many times do you get asked if you’re related to Kip Winger? – asked by Bobby C of Royal Honey on Episode 39 About the Song: Ballerina was a song I wrote about not one girl, but kind of an amalgamation of girls I was dating at the time. One girl was probably the main inspiration – she played “Belle” in the Live Stage Show of Beauty and the Beast at Walt Disney World, and the title of the song kind of sprung from that stage environment of singers and dancers. About Erik Winger Genre: Pop Rock Location: Orlando, FL, USA Erik Winger is a singer/songwriter/guitarist from Western PA. For the past 22 years, he’s called Orlando, FL his home. Erik describes his sound as rock/pop with a strong sense of melody and harmony. Dethlehem PARS525

Brutalitus and Bovice of Dethlehem join episode 525 after embarking on their newest tale, Maelstrom of the Emerald Dragon. Dethlehem Segment 1 Famously, KISS put out and ad looking for a guitarist, worded “Lead guitarist wanted, with flash and ability. Album out shortly. No time wasters please.” Last week, KHULT HEADWIND, became a LVL2 and joined the warriors of Dethlehem. My question is, what does an ad looking for a new warrior look like? I mean, I have some gauntlets and an amulet, would that get me in the door? Normally I ask questions like, if your band was in a cartoon series, which series would it be and which character would be you; or if they made a rockumentary about Dethlehem, who would play you. What I want to know from you, is if you were from this realm, what would your day jobs be? If I were to go on a quest with you, what bands would provide the soundtrack in between battles? I also usually ask bands which songs of their’s would survive an apocalyptic event; however, for you I would like to know what that tale would be titled and how many tracks it would take for you to complete the quest? or more specifically how do you come up with the storyline for an album like Maelstrom of the Emerald Dragon? Does Overlord Brom keep that helmet on for the whole show? What is the reddish orange glow coming out of his helmet? When you guys are preparing for battle, what does your pre-show look like? How do you decide who you’re going to ally with on a night? Segment 2 with Brutalitus and Bovice Can you tell me about an embarrassing moment that you had during a quest? If you were given the quest to take over the world’s stages, which 2 unsigned bands would you ally with to accomplish that quest? Having just watched your release, I have to know… what is your best guess on how many hours went into getting Maelstrom of the Emerald Dragon finished… starting with writing the first thought down and ending with the Facebook Live. Can you quickly share your social media links, where your music can be bought, and anything you might have scheduled for the future? (A Dethlehem movie?!?!) What is the story about the wound on your face? (Brutalitus) Last question, step into your alter egos for a moment, and tell me something that you fans would be surprised to know about each of you, please. Xbox or Playstation? The legend of DETHLEHEM began in the realm of GHORUSALEM many eons ago. During their journey, the warriors of DETHLEHEM have traveled through time and space to do battle against dragons, wizards, warlocks, leviathans, shape-shifters, and a sh*t ton of other things that needed to be SLAIN (for XP, duh). https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLfensvypjd4Cmkkcb1VsNDEmtE9CJugsxhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbjKAHuL7Hw

Ray Powers 3QS035

3 Questions for Ray Powers Having started touring at the age of 15 and being into different aspects of the music industry over your lifetime, what do you believe was your biggest moment? You can pick 1 album that you’ve already heard to erase the memories of having heard it, and go back to listen to it like it’s the first time again. What would it be? Do you prefer working with artists on the production side of things, or performing in front of an audience? asked by Shock Frenzy in episode 34. About the song, It’s You This is my second-ever solo single, originally released in 2013 and remains a mainstay in my live set. I composed the music and lyrics unassisted. Music comes to me effortlessly, but lyrics can be a challenge. When I hit a speed bump on the lyric is when I’ll typically reach out for a collaborator, but ‘It’s You’ pretty much flowed for me. I laugh when I hear a recording artist say that they can’t pick a favorite song because, how you do play favorites among your ‘babies’? Songs evoke feelings, but songs don’t have feelings that can be hurt. ‘It’s You’ is my favorite. I’m excited that the 2020 Remaster will give this and others a fresh new life on the airwaves. About Ray Powers Band Location: New York, NY Band Genre: Rock Ray Powers promised something special for 2020, and has delivered with a remastered compilation album of his chart-topping singles, limited-availability B-sides and previously unreleased songs in Decade Of Singles (2011-2019). Powers is a music industry veteran, having toured with a plethora of acts since age 15. He’s a respected and sought-after vocalist, bassist, composer and producer with Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame™ credentials. Segment 1 Questions: For COS and Country How has the stay at home order blown up the bands plans? (HINT: Keep an eye out for free downloads) We talked about the possibility of new music coming out of the current situation and hopes that people are handling it well. Mick tells us a bit about the band and some of their influences and what they are “labeled” as. Mick talks about their European tour being shortened due to the Coronavirus. They had been told that the next flight out from Manchester was going to be May 6. They are working on on rescheduling the tour, possibly around some tentative dates that they have scheduled for February of 2021. We learn about the track, The Raid (For God and Country), which you can download for free off of their website. We talk about their video that was recorded in Germany, and 2 new ones for “Victoria” and “Sandstorm Salvation” that they recorded while they were in England (see below). They premiered on the Lockdown Rockdown on Saturday, April 11, 2020 (see below). Segment 2 Questions with Mick Michaels If I was flipping through my Social Studies book and we get to the pages about what happened during this time in history and the Coronavirus, and there is a section on your band. What would that section be about? If there was an apocalyptic situation on Earth and a handful of people and one song from each band survives, which Corners of Sanctuary song should survive? If you could sit down on a bench and talk to any musician and pick his/her brain, who would you pick and what would you ask? If someone was going to make a movie about your band, what actor would play each of you? Carrot Top? Tom Cruise? At this point, Mick shares their social media accounts for you to follow. If a major band comes to you after the stay at home order is rescinded, who do you wish it would be? Christina from The Shadow Event asks: How would you describe your sound, and which cartoon characters would you pick to play your band in a video? If you could join a band that you idolized, not necessarily replace anyone just join as a new member, what band would you want to join? What would your KISS face paint be? This leads to a long conversation about the band. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zr9tLq5mbzY
